Here is a sampling of current musical projects that Dr. Hampton is working on.

The Italian Music Project

Dr. Hampton has begun an intensive study of traditional Italian art song and Neapolitan song.  Over the next nine months, Frank will be studying the history, language, and musical tradition of Italy.   Songs include works of Donizetti, Bellini, and Tosti.  Plans for a summer recital in the summer of 2015 coming soon.   

Sacred Song Project

With a long history with sacred music, Dr. Hampton has been researching and working with sacred vocal music of Haendel, Vaughn Williams, and Rossini.  The musical programming takes the listener on a spiritual journey from darkness into light.  Sample recordings coming soon!
